About the event

Celebrate the end of Prohibition in Alberta AND the Edson & District Historical Society's 50th anniversary at our upcoming Prohibition Night on November 8!

Head down to our exclusive speakeasy and travel back to the roaring 1920's as you indulge in interactive carnival games, door prizes, a 50/50, wine & cheese, and much more! Dance the night away to the early swing rhythms of Cam Neufeld & Friends while sipping on a cocktail of the era, or mingle with fellow guests to a backdrop of silent films in our one-of-a-kind setting.

Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a first-timer, you'll have the time of your life as you step into a world of fun and revelry. Channel your inner Hercule Poirot, Miss Marple, Jay Gatsby, and Roxy Hart! Dress in your best 1920's era attire for the chance to win a prize!

Watch for tickets to go on sale!

In the spirit of truth and reconciliation, the Edson & District Historical Society (EDHS) acknowledges that we are on Treaty 6 territory, the traditional and ancestral lands of the Nehiyawak, Saulteaux, Siksika, Piikuni, Kainai, Dene, Nakota Sioux and Otipemisiwak (Metis) Nations. The EDHS further acknowledges the harms done in the past and as a volunteer organization are dedicated to cultivating relationships in the spirit of reconciliation. We welcome the opportunity to continue to live and learn on these lands with mutual respect.
