  1. Christmas Lights and Fireworks, say no more. Friday November 21, starting at 5:30pm come to the RCMP Centennial start the magic of the Christmas Season with Santa as he lights up the park. With outdoor and indoor activities at the Galloway Station Museum complete with hot chocolate and smores what could be better? Fireworks! Yes, that is right the evening will conclude with Fireworks at 7pm!

  1. Santa loves his cookies—and this year, make sure yours are the ones he remembers! Join the Youth Interagency for a cookie decorating workshop November 24 from 5 – 7pm with Kara from O.W. Baking. Learn tips and tricks like icing consistency, layering, and wet-on-wet techniques to make your cookies look (and taste) extra special for Santa.

  1. Do you have a closet full of old t-shirts or fabric laying around the house but you don’t know what to do with it? Lara Felsing has a solution! Register for a DIY workshop that run from 6-8pm on Nov 26th and Nov 27 and build your own rag rug. This workshop is $40.00 and for Ages 16+.

  1. Santa Clause is Coming to Town!


    The 39th Annual Santa Clause Parade will fill the streets of Edson and Santa Clause is the Star. Bundle up, Grab Friends and Family as A Small Town Christmas Parade goes through town, to bring joy to all that view it.

  1. Santa came to town, but he didn’t bring any gifts! Looks like he needs to visit the Christmas Artisan Market at the Galloway Station Museum on November 29 from 12 to 4:30 pm to get ready for Christmas. With plenty of local vendors and artists, there’s something for everyone — perfect for checking off Santa’s list and yours too.
